Jorge Moll; Positively transforming the Brazilian Health Industry

Jorge Moll is the current head of the Board of Directors at the Rede D’Or São Luiz institution. He is an achieved cardiologist with a high appetite for business and entrepreneurship. Moll is the current president of the D’Or Institute for Research and Education (Idor).

Jorge is the current founder of the Network and current leads more than 30 hospitals nationally. He is renowned for pioneering symposia on the history of the transformations that have been seen in the institution that initially started as an examination center to numerous well-performing hospitals. On discovering the gap that was present in Rio de Janeiro, Jorge Moll, idealistic in the field of medicine, took advantage and started the center that allows as an institution for complementary tests.

During the period between the 1970s and 1980s, the vibrant city of Rio de Janeiro was the core of medicine in the entire Brazil. However, afterward, the situation had worsened which created an opportunity for Jorge Moll to turn things around. It is then that the famous entrepreneur started making changes and developments in medicine culminating into a robust health institution comprising of many hospitals.

Despite the financial challenges that Jorge Moll has encountered in his journey of entrepreneurship in Brazil. Brazil has previously undergone an economic crisis that caused businesspersons to leave the department of health to other alternatively cheaper and less risky ventures. Jorge, on the other hand, has consistently endured in medicine. He developed the Total Health Management Model. Through the model and other strategic steps, Moll aims to give people access to health care with reduced costs.

Jorge has made milestones in medicine. As the leader of the D’Or Institute for Research and Education, he is associated with the discovery of the correlation between voluntary service and health ( Jorge Moll has been applauded for his innovativeness that birthed an integrated system that traverses a wide scope transiting from an outpatient clinic to a sophisticated healthcare program.
